Katie Elizabeth Wood of Campobello, S.C. and Bryan Lewis McDaniel of Sumter, S.C. were united in marriage at 4 p.m. Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Old Fort Baptist Church.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony W. Wood of Campobello, S.C. and the granddaughter of Ms. Fannie Belle Ayers and the late James Ayers and the late Mary L. Wood. She graduated from Spartanburg Christian Academy and Charleston Southern University with a major in early childhood education. She is employed as a teacher at Knightsville Elementary School in Summerville.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard L. McDaniel Jr. and Mrs. Randy L. McFaddin, and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jerome A. Baak and Mr. and Mrs. Richard L. McDaniel, all of Sumter, S.C. He graduated from Sumter High School and is majoring in business administration at Charleston Southern University.
The Rev. Jim Bogstad officiated the ceremony.
