Sunday hours are 12 to 5:15 p.m., and on all days the gate is locked at 6 p.m.

The falls are accessible by using State Road 176 to Pearson&squo;s Falls Road just north of Melrose Junction. According to the Tryon Garden Club, which owns and maintains Pearson&39;s Falls, there seems to be a lot of confusion regarding access to Pearson&squo;s Falls. Club members say many people are turning back from visiting the falls because of being &dquo;unsure that the glen was open.&dquo;

The DOT is working on the bridge northwest of the entrance to Pearsons Falls. Access from Saluda and the north on Pearson&squo;s Falls Road is not currently available. Use State Road 176 from Saluda, come past Melrose Junction and look for Pearson&squo;s Falls Road.

The glen is cooler than the surrounding area, the picnic tables are available, and the ferns and mosses are present throughout the glen, according to the Tryon Garden Club. Families are welcome to come enjoy a little of the mountain heritage which seems so present in the glen.&bsp; &bsp;
