If you are interested in seeing the Polk County High School graduation but do not care to fight the traffic, crowds, hard bleachers and weather, you are invited to come to Pea Ridge Baptist Church to see the ceremonies on live video in the church sanctuary at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 8.
Pea Ridge Baptist Church is located 3½ miles east of Mill Spring on Hwy. 108. The video will be streamed over the Internet with a link on the Polk County Schools system’s website. Other churches may like to provide this service on their media system.
Both Friday evening’s program and Thursday’s (June 7) awards night can also be viewed on your home computer with a link on the schools’ website. Go to www.polk.k12.nc.us just before 7 p.m. both nights and click on the box to view graduation or view awards.
