The May 2 meeting of the Kiwanis Club of Tryon hosted special guest speaker Diane Trainor, outreach specialist from the North Carolina Department of Insurance. She provided information about Medicare fraud and abuse, scams targeting seniors and the importance of protecting yourself from identity theft. Trainor is the senior Medicare patrol specialist of SHIIP (Seniors Health Insurance Information Program).
