Super Saturday draws hundreds to downtown Tryon
Strolling puppeteer Drew Nowlin flies his giant dragon through downtown Tryon on Super Saturday, March 17. Nowlin, from Charlotte, N.C., was one of many entertainers in town for the annual event, also known as the Children’s Theater Festival. Hundreds of children, parents and other community members took advantage of unusually warm spring weather while enjoying theatrical performances inside and outside on the street, live music, storytelling, children’s activities, food and more.
