Overturned truck backs up I-26 traffic

The westbound lanes of I-26 were shut down for most of the morning on Wednesday, March 14 because of an overturned tractor-trailer.
State troopers said the truck was hauling glass from Tennessee at the time of the accident. No one was injured. Crews spent the morning removing the tractor-trailer and westbound lanes were closed most of the morning.
Lanes were reopened before noon.
The accident occurred west of Columbus between mile markers 59 and 61 and occurred around 7:45 a.m.
