TRYON— Over several evenings last week, The Creators Vault, located at 25 Trade St., hosted an event titled the Youth Explosion, featuring a lineup of inspiring speakers and music. Mentors such as Pastor Dolly Moore, Brittney Staley, and event organizer Tanisha Akinloye shared powerful messages of faith, perseverance, and the pursuit of dreams with the young attendees.
The children enjoyed a memorable evening filled with singing hymns and engaging with speakers on various topics, including peer pressure and bullying, followed by insightful question-and-answer sessions.
“Brittney Staley delivered a powerful message to our youth, encouraging them to trust Jesus in all that they do” said Akinloye. “Her words truly resonated—one little girl even complimented her on her beauty. Moments like these remind us why we do what we do.”

To further celebrate the occasion, participants indulged in a lively pizza party. They were gifted small tokens symbolizing leadership and purpose, serving as reminders that they are seen, valued, and capable of achieving great things.
“I am deeply grateful to our organization, Empowering Through Beauty, Inc., and the Pea Ridge Partnership Initiative for hosting this impactful event. Special thanks to our generous sponsors and supporters, including Thermal Belt Outreach,” Akinloye continued.
The event received support from various local businesses, with Chick-fil-A contributing gift cards and Jerry Freeman and his son Jerrell providing uplifting music that enhanced the event’s atmosphere.
“Thank you to everyone who made this week so meaningful. The seeds planted in these young lives will grow for years to come,” Akinloye added.
In addition to inspirational talks, the event showcased grant opportunities available for young people with entrepreneurial aspirations.
The Creators Vault is described on its website as “an African-inspired, creative house where artists of all disciplines converge, collaborate, and innovate.” This unique establishment fuses the realms of art, fashion, and community, serving as both a boutique and an art café.
