Tryon Arts & Crafts School Annual Yard Sale Fundraiser set this weekend

TRYON–– On Friday, August 1, and Saturday, August 2, the Tryon Arts & Crafts School will host its Annual Yard Sale fundraiser at 373 Harmon Field Rd. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, offering a diverse selection of items for purchase, including furniture, craft supplies, boutique clothing, and machinery.

The two-day event will also feature special presale opportunities for volunteers and members, with discounts available during the final hours of the sale. Organizers encourage attendees to arrive early, as popular items tend to sell quickly. 

In preparation for the sale, donations of household items are being accepted now through Thursday, July 31, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. or by appointment. TACS welcomes a variety of items and encourages community involvement by contributing to this worthy cause. For those who wish to support the school financially, a monetary donation option is available on their website. Additionally, volunteers are needed to help with the event, including tasks such as receiving donations, sorting, pricing, and staging items. 

Volunteers who donate four or more hours of their time will receive exclusive access to the Volunteer Pre-Sale, allowing them to shop before TACS members and the general public.

All proceeds from the yard sale will directly benefit TACS, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, enabling the school to offer new and exciting programs each year.
