I hate peppers!

Dear Aunty Pam,

My sister-in-law is always bringing us peppers from her garden. I hate peppers! My wife doesn’t mind them, but forgets to use them, and then they rot and get thrown out. I asked her why she doesn’t just tell her sister to stop bringing the darn things, and she said she doesn’t want to hurt her feelings. I told her I’d tell her, and she said, ‘Don’t you dare!’

So how do I get Lorraine to leave her cotton-picking’ peppers at home?

Dear Pepper,

For heaven’s sake, take the peppers and keep the peace in your family. Every fridge has a vegetable morgue drawer, and you can keep them in there until you take them to a local food pantry that accepts produce, or give them to people you don’t like. And be grateful for your first-world problems, you chucklehead!
