TRYON—The Wolverine 12th Man Association is set to host its Annual Dinner and Silent Auction on Saturday, August 9, beginning at 6 p.m. The event will take place at the Tryon Fine Arts Center, located at 34 Melrose Avenue.

Attendees can look forward to a delightful evening featuring dinner and drinks, live music by the local band Misdemeanor, and a chance to win a $1,000 cash prize. Additionally, a silent auction and various door prizes will be available. For a $100 donation, two adults will gain admission to this exciting event.

“Coach Frye will discuss the upcoming team and the football season ahead,” said Louise Johnson, President of the Wolverine 12th Man Association. “We’ve got some amazing silent auction items up for bid, and 100% of the money raised goes to support the Polk County Football program.”

As the 2025 football campaign approaches, the Wolverines are gearing up to host their opening game on Friday, August 22, against Chase, followed by a home game against Newton-Conover on August 29.

Tickets can be purchased at Mountain View Barbeque in Columbus or by contacting Louise Johnson via email at PCHS12thMan@Gmail.com.
