CAMPOBELLO—The Town of Campobello will host its annual National Night Out event on Tuesday, August 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Gib Gosnell Park, located at 117 Lanford St.
Sponsored by the Campobello Police and Fire Departments, the event is part of a nationwide initiative to strengthen partnerships between law enforcement agencies and the communities they serve. Families attending can expect an evening filled with fun, food, and valuable community engagement.
“This event would not be possible without the help of local churches and businesses who donate their time and the supplies needed,” organizers said.

Highlights include free food, music, door prizes, and giveaways. Children will receive free school supplies, while attendees of all ages can explore public safety vehicles on display and connect with representatives from various community resources.
Local law enforcement and emergency services personnel will be on hand to meet with community members, answer questions, and showcase their equipment and services. The evening also serves as an informal back-to-school kickoff for area students.
The event is free and open to the public. For more information, residents can contact Campobello Police Officer C. Miller at 864-468-4545 or via email at cmiller@townofcampobellosc.com.
