LANDRUM—Excitement is building as Landrum High School gears up for its inaugural Football Alumni Game, scheduled for Friday, July 18, at 7 p.m. at Cardinal Stadium. 

The game will be an opportunity for alumni to reconnect, relive their glory days on the field, and engage with the local community ahead of the upcoming football season.

Coach Mike Reid, who has served as the assistant head coach and defensive coordinator for the past two seasons, shared his enthusiasm for the event. 

“This game is all about getting fans excited for the upcoming football season,” Reid said. “We’re planning a seven-on-seven format, and we warmly invite all alumni to come out, play, and attend.”

The idea for the Alumni Game was inspired by the recent success of the Landrum baseball team’s alumni event. 

“When we saw how much fun and excitement the baseball alumni game generated, we thought this would be a great opportunity for our football program as well,” Reid added.

The festivities will feature food trucks, jersey sales, and an atmosphere filled with camaraderie and team spirit. All alumni are encouraged to sign up and join in the fun.
