LANDRUM—The eagerly anticipated Peach Festival took place on Saturday, June 21, from 8 a.m. to noon at Landrum’s Joe Cunningham Pavilion. The event, part of the Landrum Farmers Market, brought together locals and visitors alike to celebrate the height of peach season. It featured a Craft Fair, a wide array of food vendors, and a selection of fresh fruits and vegetables.

“This year’s Peach Festival was a wonderful celebration of summer and community spirit,” said Market Co-Manager Kristen Johnston. “From fresh-picked peaches to peach-inspired crafts, it’s a fantastic opportunity to support our local farmers and enjoy the best of what the foothills have to offer.”

Over 2,000 attendees enjoyed a delightful selection of peach-infused treats for under $5, including peach cobbler, peach ice cream, peach salsa, and chips. Unique offerings included meatballs in peach sauce and peach popcorn. In addition to the peach-centric menu, vendors offered blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, and an assortment of summer vegetables.

“Thank you for your generosity to local farmers and small businesses,” said Market Co-Manager JoAnn James. “We feel honored that so many in our community joined us today. A special shout-out to our team of helpers. Henry, Erica Fleming, Tricia Tabor, Dan & Chris James, who all worked hard behind the scenes to help us pull this off.”
