POLK COUNTY—After a multi-year hiatus, the beloved Animal Fair Fundraiser recently made a triumphant return at Caitlyn Farms in Mill Spring, drawing animal lovers and community members together for a day filled with fun, food, and purpose.

Hosted by Foothills Humane Society and chaired by Polk County Animal Control Officer Patti Lovelace, alongside fellow officer Samantha Herrington and a dedicated volunteer committee, the event brought in an impressive $35,954 in donations. These funds will directly benefit animal welfare initiatives throughout Polk County.

“We are so grateful to Patti Lovelace, Samantha Herrington, and all the members of the volunteer committee and all the sponsors and supporters who made Animal Fair such an incredible success,” said Carol Parker, President of FHS. “It is great to have this event, which was a long-time tradition, back for the community to enjoy and to help the animals in our care.”
