COLUMBUS—To promote holistic healing and enhance community well-being, White Oak Medicine, located at 155 W Mills St #103, has announced its Health Education Series, a free program designed for individuals seeking to explore alternative health practices. The classes are held on Tuesday evenings, with the next one scheduled for June 17 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

This initiative, led by founder Veronica Johnson, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, will be available both in-person and online, making it accessible to a broader audience.

The Health Education Series aims to provide a comprehensive approach to root-cause healing and whole-person care. Each session will focus on diverse topics, including essential oils, nutrition, movement, and stress relief, catering to both newcomers and those seeking to deepen their existing self-care practices. Attendees can expect simple yet practical techniques designed to support nervous system regulation, emotional balance, and overall physical health.

“Come as you are, leave feeling more like yourself,” said Johnson.

Registration is required for each class, and interested individuals are encouraged to RSVP on Facebook. Registration links will be posted bi-weekly in the Discussion tab of the event page, making it easy for community members to stay updated on new topics and secure their spots.

White Oak Medicine’s approach prioritizes patient-led healthcare, stepping away from traditional, insurance-driven methods. In addition to the Health Education Series, the practice offers a variety of services, including direct primary care, safe medication tapering, metabolic and lifestyle medicine, and auricular acupuncture.
