New signs highlight international partnership with Carunchio, Italy
SALUDA—Two new signs have been installed in Saluda to celebrate the city’s 10-year Sister Cities relationship with Carunchio, Italy.
With support from the Polk County Appearance Commission and City of Saluda staff, the signs were placed at Pace Park and at the tennis and pickleball courts near Saluda Elementary School.
Saluda and Carunchio were officially designated as Sister Cities in 2014, forming a transatlantic partnership centered on cultural exchange and community connection.
