3rd Annual Pride Pop-Up Market set for June 29
TRYON—Back Alley Bud Bar & Boutique will host the third annual Pride Pop-Up Market on Sunday, June 29, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Tryon Depot Plaza. The event will feature live music, a welcoming, festive atmosphere, and a curated selection of local artists, makers, and vendors.
This year, Mirrorball Gallery + Studio Lounge will also debut the “Love is Love” Pride Brunch & Dance Party, a ticketed event beginning at 3 p.m. at 84 Depot Street.
“We’re excited to open our doors and dance floors to celebrate the powerful message that love is love,” said Alexander Page, owner of Mirrorball Gallery. “This event is about community, visibility, and joy. Everyone is welcome.”
Together, these events promise a dynamic, joy-filled celebration of love, identity, and community, organizers said. The community is invited to enjoy a full day of shopping, dancing, and celebrating diversity and creativity in downtown Tryon.
Featured vendors at the pop-up market include Tryon’s Hypnotic Massage Sleep Boutique and Freak Flag Art, which specializes in collage as well as altered and vintage clothing.
“I’ve been expressing myself through art my whole life,” said Sarah of Freak Flag Art. “I hope [my art] helps people express themselves and feel empowered to fly their Freak Flag high and proud!”
The Pride Pop-Up Market is free to attend; to learn more, visit Back Alley Bud Bar & Boutique on Facebook. For “Love is Love” Pride Brunch & Dance Party ticket information, visit mirrorballgallery.com.
