TRYON—On Wednesday, July 2, at 7 p.m., the Town of Tryon will host a special evening of music featuring the 100th Army Jazz Band at Rogers Park. 

The 100th Army Band, stationed at the Glenn Miller Performing Arts Center at Fort Knox, Ky., is renowned for its diverse repertoire that instills patriotism, national pride, and a sense of camaraderie within the community. The band’s program features a variety of musical genres centered around patriotic tunes, jazz classics, and beloved musical favorites. 

In addition to entertaining audiences, the band plays a crucial role in sharing the story of today’s military and honoring the accomplishments of the United States. As highly trained musicians and citizen-soldiers, members of the 100th Army Band have performed for a range of audiences, including notable figures such as presidents, dignitaries, and military officials worldwide.
