LANDRUM—In a unanimous decision, the Spartanburg One Board of Trustees has hired Coach Mike Reid as the new head football coach at Landrum High School. The announcement was made during a board meeting on Monday evening.

Following the announcement, Coach Reid expressed gratitude for the opportunity.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve as Head Football Coach at Landrum High School,” he said. “This is a special place, and I’ve already invested in the players, staff, and community. I look forward to building on that foundation and leading our program with energy, discipline, and purpose.”

A graduate of Broome High School, Reid holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from USC Upstate, a Master’s degree in athletic administration from Concordia University, and an additional Master’s +30 in Coaching from the University of La Verne.
