Polk County High Bass Fishing team members Banks Barber and Tanner Osborn have qualified for the two-day Palmetto Boat Center High School Classic, scheduled for May 2-3 at Lake Keowee.

It marks the fifth consecutive year that a Polk County team has qualified for the event, which serves as the championship tourney for the season-long Palmetto Boat Center High School Trail.

Almost 200 teams took part in the series this season. Barber and Osborn competed in six events and placed 51st overall, earning them a spot at the Classic.
