Henderson County Republican Men’s Club will meet on Saturday April 12 at The American Legion in Hendersonville at 9 a.m. State Representative Jake Johnson will be the featured speaker.

 State Representative Jake Johnson represents a portion of Henderson County,  Polk Rutherford Counties.  He has served 3.5 years in the House, fulfilling the unexpired term of Cody Henson and recently was elected to his Third Full Term.

 Jake is the Chairman of the Oversight Committee, Chair of Appropriations, Capital and Information Technology. He is the Vice Chair of Appropriations and Commerce and Economic Development,  House Select Committee on Helene Recovery, and serves as a member of Education K-12, and Wildlife. He serves on a number of non –standing committees.

 Currently Jake is working with various Fire Departments, Fire Marshalls to coordinate resources for containment of the Wild Fires in Polk County.

 He is one of the rising star Republicans in the North Carolina House of Representatives.  He will speak on a variety of issues and will be available to answer your questions.

 A Breakfast Buffet will be served consisting of eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy, fruit, cinnamon rolls, juice and coffee for $13 cash payable at the Door. 

 All Registered Republicans are invited to attend.  Membership is $30 for Men and $15 for Women.  Applications are available at the door.
