SUNNY VIEW—The Rotary Club of Tryon recently distributed books to Sunny View Elementary School students as part of our Club’s Reading is Fundamental (RIF) program. As each class came into the Library, a member of the Rotary Club introduced the students to the program by reading a few selected passages from the available books.

After the introduction, students could select a book to take home. The Rotary Club of Tryon holds two book distributions at Sunny View every year.  

When students start in the school’s PreK program and stay at the school through 5th grade, the Rotary Club will have donated 14 books to the family’s home library.
