FOOTHILLS—Several exciting events are planned to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day next weekend and on Monday, March 17. 

The City of Landrum will host a street party with a parade on Saturday, March 15, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Attendees will have the chance to enjoy bounce houses, food trucks, and other activities, making it a perfect outing for all ages. Also, on March 15, the Tryon International Equestrian Center will host its St. Patrick’s Day celebration from 6 to 11:55 p.m., featuring a classic Irish menu, drink specials, and live music by Rocky Yelton and The Hired Guns at the Silver Spoon Saloon. A highlight of the night will be the banger-eating contest, offering prizes for the top three competitors.

Other events on Saturday, March 15, include Katie D’s St. Patrick’s Day Celebration at K.D.’s Sea Shack in Tryon and the St. Patrick’s Day Community Dance and Celtic Karaoke celebration at Mountain Page Theater in Saluda.

Closing out the weekend will be a ticketed St. Patrick’s Day Celebration at The Fitzgerald on Sunday, March 16. The event will feature live music from The Trophy Husbands, karaoke, and an Irish meal option.
