Shirley Foster Tucker

Shirley Foster Tucker, 83, of Landrum went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 31, 2025, at her home after an eight-year battle with Alzheimer’s.  She was the daughter of the late Roger and Helen Ormand Foster and wife of the late Tandy W. “Buddy” Tucker.

She was a member of Columbus First Baptist Church and a graduate of Polk Central High School.

She was a beautiful Christian lady with a loving heart for all family and friends, especially her grandsons.

She is survived by two daughters Pam Burrell (David) and Cathy Cantrell (Mike); two brothers George Foster (Janet) and Walter Foster (Sharon); four grandsons Gabriel Burrell (Katy), Jansen Burrell (Alison), Elijah Burrell (Morgan); and Mason Cantrell; and two great grandchildren Josie and Charlee.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, baby son, two baby daughters, and a brother Bob Ormand.

The family welcomed family and friends from 10:00-11:00 am Tuesday, February  4, 2025, at Petty Funeral Home.  Funeral services were held at 11:00 am at the funeral home chapel.   Burial will be in Landrum Cemetery.   

The family will be at the home of her daughter Pam, 1690 Landrum Mill Road, Campobello, SC.
