TRYON— On Friday evening, the Tryon Downtown Development Association hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the grand reopening of The Nest Corner Market, located at 13 S. Trade St. The event celebrated the market’s expansion, which now includes an Artisanal Food Market and an enhanced Garden Center while continuing to showcase local artists.
The Nest welcomed guests early in the day, inviting them to explore the newly revamped layout before the official ribbon-cutting ceremony at 5 p.m. Despite chilly and rainy weather, the event drew a crowd.
“We’ve added the boutique food aisle because we feel we are perfectly located to offer great takeout items for locals and visitors,” said owner Ashley Menetre.
Founded in 2016 by Ashley and Beau Menetre, The Nest Corner Market has earned a reputation for offering a unique selection of local products, jewelry, local art, and other unique items that reflect the region’s creativity.
“With a grateful heart, we thank those wonderful members of the town of Tryon and its surrounding areas for attending our grand reopening,” Ashley said. “You are the reason we are here. If you missed us tonight, please stop in soon to see all our wonderful new products and reacquaint yourselves with our talented local artists.”
The Nest Corner Market’s business hours are Monday through Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 2 p.m.
