The event will feature activities for children, live bands, food, and vendors. Blackjack and TKO are both set to perform, and the Kids’ Zone will offer face painting, crafts, and more.

The Feed the Foothills event was originally scheduled for September 28, but Hurricane Helene hit. Rather than canceling the event, everyone pulled together, enabling CFCOC to hold the event.

“Unfortunately, the hurricane has shown how much need there is in our community, but it has also brought our community together and proven how supportive and giving we are to our neighbors,” said Chamber of Commerce Marketing Manager Olivia Whiteside. “We have been thankful for the community involvement, to our sponsors of this event, and for the donations received for raffle prizes that will be drawn throughout the event. Everyone who attends, donates, and shares this event will help make it a success, enabling us to give even more to the food pantries.”

All monetary and food donations will support local food pantries in the community. For information on donating or being a vendor at the event, contact Whiteside at marketing@carolinafoothillschamber.com. Raffle tickets are also still available.
