Polk County celebrated its wrestling seniors Thursday with a near-perfect performance.

The Wolverines won every weight class but one in their home match with Brevard, handing the Blue Devils a 70-6 defeat in a Mountain Foothills 7 Conference match.

Prior to the match, Polk (28-5) honored seniors Jacob Ed and Donte Tingling. That celebration lasted throughout the evening as the Wolverines won match after match, with Ed and Tingling picking up wins via forfeit.

Brevard’s lone victory came in the heavyweight class, where Polk forfeited to Blue Devil Javion Brown.

Polk County has added a tournament to its schedule, planning to compete Saturday in the Patriot Duals at Madison.
