COLUMBUS—From January to March, Chimney Rock State Park will present a wildlife program at Columbus Library on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 4 p.m. These programs are designed for children and their families, but people of all ages are welcome to attend. The program series kicks off on January 28 with Radical Raptors.

Attendees of this month’s program will learn about birds of prey, understand their role in our ecosystem, and discover how we can help protect them. They will also meet special winged ambassadors and hear about what makes them unique among our native species.

The program on February 25 will focus on marvelous mammals of the Appalachian Mountains, and the March 25 program will focus on nocturnal animals. All programs will feature live animals that live at Chimney Rock State Park.
