TRYON—The Rotary Club of Tryon grew a little larger last week when Eileen Mehta and Liz Mossina were warmly received as new members. Rotary Club of Tryon President Dave Scherping performed the Induction Ceremony that made Mehta and Mossina official members of both the Rotary Club of Tryon and Rotary International.

As Rotary International members, Eileen and Liz are joining the ranks of more than 1.4 million Rotarians around the world who are dedicated to Service Above Self.  By virtue of that association, they will be welcome in some 35,000 Rotary clubs in more than 200 countries worldwide.

As part of the ceremony, Skip Taylor received his Sponsor Pin from new Rotarian Eileen Mehta and Stacey Lindsay received her Sponsor Pin from new Rotarian Liz Mossina. The sponsors have the responsibility of helping new Rotarians become active members of their Club.
