FOOTHILLS—The Foothills Music Club has announced the Young Musicians Scholarship auditions for 2025.  

Talented high school student musicians who are full-time residents or attend school full-time in Polk or Rutherford counties or Landrum are eligible to audition. Students may audition each year of high school, grades 9 through 12, for a total of four years. The scholarships awarded can be used to help students in their musical endeavors.

The 2025 auditions will be held Friday, March 8, and Saturday, March 9, at Tryon First Baptist Church on Pacolet Street.  

Students who meet the requirements can obtain application forms and additional scholarship information from their school or private music teachers. Additional information or forms may also be requested by email or phone from FMC Scholarship Chair Jeanette Shackelford at
