Another amazing holiday season at Steps to Hope

FOOTHILLS—Another amazing holiday season has unfolded at Steps to Hope. 

Through the generosity of 23 community sponsors and the generous contributions from Polk County Community Foundation and Polk County Toy Run, 19 volunteers accepted and wrapped Christmas presents over five days. From bicycles to Barbie dolls, the room was filled with “Christmas wrappers” who cut, taped, beautified, and packed over 1,000 gifts. The staff distributed “Santa’s bags of toys” to 69 children from 22 families in Polk County. 

Gift cards were also included to ensure a wonderful holiday dinner was part of the season. On behalf of all those who received the blessings of this effort, please accept our heartfelt thanks!
