William Clyde Bridges

William Clyde (Bill) Bridges, age 84, of Tryon, NC, passed away on  November 30, 2024.

Bill served his country in the US Army and was of the Baptist Faith. Bill retired from the Meadow Brook Golf Course.

He was born in Polk County to the late Marion Woodrow Bridges and Sarah Jean Feagan. He was also predeceased by his sons, Rusty and Mitchell, and a brother, Bobby Lee Bridges.

Survivors include a brother, James Edward Bridges (Shirley); a granddaughter, Shanna Bridges; nephews Brian Bridges, Brett Bridges (Kelly), Blake Bridges (Vickie); an aunt, Dorothy York and numerous cousins.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Green Creek First Baptist Church from 2 to 4 p.m. in the fellowship hall.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.
