LANDRUM—The Carolina Foothills Chamber of Commerce has unveiled a new date for its much-anticipated Feed the Foothills community-sharing event. The event will take place on February 8 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Landrum Farmers Market Pavilion. The event, initially set to take place at FENCE, was postponed due to the devastation of Helene.
To support local food pantries, attendees are encouraged to bring canned goods for donation, as the event will be free with a donation.
The Chamber launched the music festival in 2018, and the event promises an exciting lineup featuring live performances from local bands TKO and Black Jack, vendors with crafts and other goods, and a Kids Zone that offers face painting, delicious food, and more.
“We’re still seeking sponsors and donations for raffle prizes,” said Foothills Chamber Marketing Manager Olivia Whiteside. “The event will be free for attendees who donate canned goods. We want anyone interested in being part of the event to contribute in any way.
“The impacts of Helene were far-reaching, and the needs will be ongoing. We hope that the success of this event will allow us to continuously support local organizations that serve our communities throughout the year.”
Landrum Farmers Market will provide ample space for the festivities. As part of the event, raffle tickets are being sold with exciting prizes, including a grand prize of an ATV. Raffle ticket prices are set at one ticket for $10, 6 tickets for $50, or 12 tickets for $100. Raffle tickets can be purchased at the Chamber Office at 2753 Lynn Road, Ste A, Tryon, and other participating local businesses, including FENCE, Landrum Antique Mall, and Gunners Haven.
The Carolina Foothills Chamber of Commerce invites the public to join the festivities while encouraging businesses and individuals to consider sponsoring the event. Multiple sponsorship tiers are available.
