It’s that time of year again that I don’t look forward to at all. The place where I work does Secret Santa every year, and I just dread it. The maximum that anybody is supposed to spend is $25, and these days, what can anybody buy that isn’t cheap or cheesy? I mean, I don’t even go out for lunch anymore because it’s always at least $15 or $20 with a tip! I don’t want to receive some tacky, cheap sweater, and the men don’t want any cheap ties. What can I buy for $25 that somebody will actually want?

Aunty Pam has compiled an exhaustive list of things to choose from. And if your office chums don’t want them, I do!

1. Bottle of Prosecco ($10 at the discount store that rhymes with Baldy)
2. Fifteen $1 scratch-off lottery tickets.

Who wouldn’t enjoy this? Take a sip, scratch off a potential jackpot. And even if they don’t win anything, they’ve still got a head full of dreams and the bubbles!
