COLUMBUS—The Polk County NC Co-Op Extension recently announced a Holiday Gift-Making Workshop on December 5 and December 12, with both events taking place from 10 to 11:30 a.m. This hands-on event will teach participants how to prepare homemade gifts from their kitchens.
This workshop is open to the first 12 participants who register for each class. It will offer demonstrations, canning recipes, tips on preparing and packaging homemade gifts effectively, and more.
“Come join us to learn how to prepare homemade gifts in your kitchen,” said Christa Snyder, Extension Administrative Assistant.
Attendees will take home a gift they create during the workshop and a canned product available for pickup the following day. The cost to participate is just $15.
The Polk County NC Co-Op Extension is located at 79 Carmel Lane in Columbus, behind the Meeting Place. For more information or to reserve your spot, contact the Polk County NC Co-Op Extension office.
