She has exhibited widely and is in many Illinois and North Carolina collections, including The School of the Art Institute of Chicago; Northern Illinois University; Ohio University, Portsmouth, OH; Asheville Art Museum; Mission Hospital, Asheville, NC; NCNB collection; North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teachers, Cullowhee, NC; and the NC Museum of History.

“My paintings are abstract landscapes,” she says. “I mainly use color, texture and value to define and relate forms. My forms shift as focus moves from one part of my painting to another. The viewer absorbs the energy of my painting and discovers the internal dialogue of my painting. With each viewing, new aspects of this dialogue present, inviting the expansion of perceptions.”

The show will be on display until mid-January.
