POLK COUNTY—The owners of Caro-Mi Dining Room recently announced that they are busy scouting locations throughout the area to continue the beloved restaurant after historic flooding from Tropical Storm Helene severely damaged it.

“Thank you all, truly, for all the love and support you’ve shown us for Caro-Mi,” they said in a social media post. “We want you to know we are doing our best to get Caro-Mi continued.” 

The owners said they know it’s important that Caro-Mi remains as not just another restaurant, but a destination.
