VOLLEYBALL: Dusenbury records 1,000th career assist in playoff triumph

Polk County junior setter Charley Dusenbury recorded her 1,000th career assist in Tuesday’s playoff victory at Highland Tech.

Dusenbury finished the Wolverines’ 3-0 victory with 40 assists, giving her 1,034 for her career. Dusenbury has recorded 668 of those this season.

It marks the second straight year that a Polk setter has reached 1,000 assists – Zaelea Eller surpassed that milestone last season.
