Lillie Mae Green, 88, of Green Creek, N.C., passed away on September 25, 2024, at Upstate Community Hospice House in Landrum, S.C. 

​Lillie Mae was born and raised in Columbus, N.C. She settled in Green Creek where she resided with her husband of sixty-three years, Clifford Green. She was an experienced seamstress and worked at Edwards Cleaners for many years. She was known for her hospitality, southern cuisine, and love of country music. Most importantly, she was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all of those who dearly loved her. 

​She is predeceased by her siblings Doris Price, Ellen Parker, and Floyd “Coonie” Pack as well as her husband Clifford Green, daughter Rickie Ashley, and grandson Derrek Lynch. She is survived by her brother William Pack, daughters Dinell Green (Tony Constance) and Tersea Green (Jeff Collins), son Tony Green, grandchildren Colby Ashley, Justin Ford, Cortney Ashley (Casey Pullen), and William Green (Hannah), and great-grandchildren Addison Ford, Avery Ford, and Emery Ashley. 

​A private memorial was held on October 12, 2024. The family would like to thank everyone who attended and celebrated the life of their beloved Lillie Mae.
