TRYON—The Tryon Development Association will hold its annual meeting on Monday, October 21, at the newly renovated Fitzgerald Event Center from 6 to 8 p.m.

The annual meeting will recap the TDDA’s accomplishments over the past year and celebrate the opening of the Fitzgerald Event Center. It will also include a panel discussion on economic development in downtown Tryon with developers, property owners, business people, and preservationists.

“Downtown Tryon has experienced significant changes this year, with many buildings renovated and repurposed, attracting new businesses to the area,” said TDDA Director Lourdes Gutierrez. “The total public and private investment in the downtown area has reached $3,630,000. Downtown events have seen great attendance, and new events have also been created.”
