POLK COUNTY—The League of Women Voters’ nonpartisan voter guide, found by visiting VOTE411.org, is now ready for Polk County citizens to use as they prepare to cast their ballots in the November 5 general elections. Early voting begins on October 17.

VOTE411.org  provides voters with access to information on every candidate for office at the local, state, and national levels. Voters enter their physical address and click through to research the candidates who will appear on their ballot. VOTE411.org can also be used to verify registration, change addresses, and find polling places. Every candidate for every office was invited to provide a bio, photo, contact info, website address, YouTube video, and statement and answer a series of questions.

The site is sponsored by the League of Women Voters US, LWV North Carolina and LWV Henderson County to help voters make informed choices.
