The Book Shelf to host Susan McNabb for book signing during Fourth Friday

TRYON—Tryon author Susan McNabb will be at The Book Shelf for a book signing on Friday, September 27, from 5 to 7 p.m. as part of downtown Tryon’s Fourth Friday event.

McNabb moved to Tryon in 2011 after nearly three decades in Los Angeles working as a model and commercial actor. She became a contributing writer for Life in Our Foothills Magazine and authored the weekly column “Tryon Diary” in the Tryon Daily Bulletin before moving to Phoenix, Arizona, in 2015. Now she spends her summers in Tryon.

McNabb will be signing her Hollywood memoir, The Opposite of Famous, as well as her novels, which she writes as Suki McMinn. Her latest release is Journeys to Authorship, an anthology about authors’ paths to publishing.
