The Basement Bunch showcases an eclectic mix of genres, drawing from rock, blues, R&B, and soul. It consists of Jim Peterman on keyboards and vocals, John Hovelsrud on guitar, Vinny Corda on flute, saxes, guitar, and vocals, Mike Carruth on drums and vocals, and Elaina Prevet on bass and mandolin.

Each ticket, priced at $40, includes two drink tickets for beer or wine and desserts from All Good Things Bakery. All proceeds will support BBBS activities and events for the following year.

For over twenty years, the Polk County Big Brothers Big Sisters organization, led by Karen Dacy, has diligently supported underserved youth in the community. With Jessica Spivey as the community program director, the organization is making strides to restore the program to pre-pandemic levels. The Polk Community Foundation, along with various local companies and individuals, has continued to support BBBS.

Currently, BBBS is providing one-on-one community match support to twenty-one youths and mentoring more than twenty students in the school program, which has yielded great success. The organization is actively seeking sponsors and community support.

Tickets can be purchased at the event, or interested individuals can contact Bill Smith at (864) 608-9807 or Jessica Spivey at (828) 429-7626.

GreenLife Inn at the Mimosa is located at 65 Mimosa Inn Drive in Lynn.
