These are good days for Polk County’s girls tennis team.

The Wolverines delivered another sweep Tuesday, claiming all matches with visiting East Rutherford in a Mountain Foothills 7 Conference match on Polk’s courts.

Polk County improved to 5-0, 2-0 with the 9-0 sweep, its third such result of the season.

Bella Sheffron’s 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 1 singles set the tone for the day, and perhaps no better summary of the day could be found than the statement made by an East Rutherford player after Cate Brown’s 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 5 singles.

“She’s really good. Really good,” the Cavalier said.

The same could be said of the Wolverines’ entire team thus far this season.
