Polk County returned to the road Thursday and notched a three-set sweep of Hendersonville in a Mountain Foothills 7 Conference tussle in Hendersonville

The Wolverines dominated the first set, then had to battle in the final two to record a 25-13, 25-17, 25-20 victory. Polk improved to 5-1 overall, 2-0 in MF7 action, with the Bearcats falling to 2-5, 0-2.

Sophia Overholt had 13 kills and 17 digs for the Wolverines, with Mia Bradley adding 11 kills and nine digs. Morgan Yoder had six kills and nine digs.

Kylie Lewis had eight kills and nine digs, with Hayden Blackwell recording eight digs.

Charley Dusenbury finished with 38 assists and eight digs for Polk, which remains on the road next week, beginning with Tuesday’s conference match at R-S Central.
