Next time you visit FENCE to enjoy any of the equestrian and nature activities held there, be sure to visit the lovely Pollinators Garden by the main building.
The Pollinators Garden is a project of the Daffy Jills Garden Club of Tryon. These busy gardeners plan, plant and maintain the flowers that attract hummingbirds, butterflies, bees, and other beneficial insects that need the native plants to survive and thrive.
In particular, the Pollinators Garden at FENCE is a designated way stop for migrating monarch butterflies, which travel north to south every year and back to breed.
