The Tryon Country Club Women’s Golf Association played a “Mixed Bag” format on July 9, along with a closest-to-the-pin contest on hole #3. The results are listed below:

2nd place – Kathy Clark, Jo Ann Silvia, Caroline Brown, Deborah Carmichael – 63

3rd place – Patty Aldred, Lisa Bjerring, Becky Kennedy, Faith Weathington – 67 

4th place – Claudia Law, Diane Torres, Lib McKeller, Anne Connolly – 68
