Polk County’s football program had a busy but productive Thursday.
Wolverine skill players hit the road to Enka to take part in 7-on-7 competition against Enka, Mountain Heritage and Cherokee.
Polk County linemen, meanwhile, headed to South Carolina to participate in a lineman challenge with Blue Ridge, Wade Hampton, Belton-Honea Path and Christ Church.
At that challenge, Polk’s Andres Sanchez earned first place in the shuttle run while Lashi Miller grabbed first in the tire flip.
