With their retro-soul, New Orleans brass music, and Americana blend, Hustle Souls brings energy and spontaneity to every venue they play. Bluestown Music described this five-piece, Asheville-based band as “intimate soul…with a Curtis Mayfield-like warmth.” Music Connection Magazine listed them as one of the “Hot 100 Live Unsigned Artists & Bands.”

Balancing this jubilant brass with strings and three-part vocal harmony are Billy Litz (keys, acoustic guitar, trumpet, vocals), Jonathan Taylor (bass, vocals), Kevin Scott (drums, vocals), Justice Mann (trombone), and Reid Parler (electric guitar).

A live March 7, 2024 performance at WNCW Radio, plus other videos, can be seen at: http://www.hustlesouls.com/listen.

New View Realty of Tryon is Summer Tracks 24th Season Presenting Sponsor, and The Back Alley Boutique & Bud Bar is this evening’s concert sponsor.

A full schedule, including performers bios and photos, can be found at www.summertracks.com.

All Summer Tracks shows begin at 7 p.m. In case of rain, the concerts will move across the street inside the Tryon Fire Department. Kirk’s Kitchen will sell hamburgers and hotdogs, as well as BBQ, chicken, and fish sandwiches, French fries, water, and soft drinks. Alcohol consumption is allowed in the park but is not for sale. Audience donations, along with many local business and individual sponsors, make these shows possible.

The concert series will continue on July 19, featuring the Sweet Summer Rock ‘n Soul Review with Peggy Ratusz & Reggie Headen, followed by Hearts Gone South on August 2 and The Dancing Fleas on August 16.
