Polk County rising senior Jessica Baird has been named to the All-Western North Carolina girls soccer squad as chosen by the Citizen-Times in Asheville.

Baird received second-team selection for the All-WNC squad after helping lead Polk County to the 1A West Regional final.

Baird was named the Mountain Foothills 7 Conference Defensive Player of the Year.
